Applied Behavior Analysis PlusOne (BS/MS)

YOU ARE BOUVÉ

Earn your MS in one year and be one step closer to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

The PlusOne Program in applied behavior analysis (ABA) is an accelerated master’s program through the Department of Applied Psychology (Bouvé College of Health Sciences) that allows students to earn an MS in ABA with one year of study following any bachelor’s degree from Northeastern.

Undergraduate students who pursue the PlusOne in ABA may take up to four graduate courses in ABA which double-count towards their requirements for the BS degree and their requirements for the MS degree. The courses are taken in progression with the MS in ABA program of study.

The MS in Applied Behavior Analysis program has been designed to meet the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB®) coursework requirements. Our program provides the experience needed to oversee the educational and behavioral programming of individuals with autism or behavioral needs.

Hundreds of our graduates have gone on to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), working to improve the lives of clients and consumers all over the world.

Learning Partnerships

We have Learning Partnerships with local and national schools and agencies. PlusOne students may apply for employment with one of our Learning Partners during their final semesters of undergraduate work and begin employment upon completion of their bachelor’s degree. ABA students accrue supervised fieldwork at these worksites through the eligible activities and experiential learning projects.
