Applied Behavior Analysis — Plus One

Program Overview

The PlusOne Program in applied behavior analysis (ABA) is an accelerated master’s program between the Department of Psychology (College of Science) and the Department of Applied Psychology (Bouvé College of Health Sciences) that allows students to earn an MS in ABA with one year of study beyond the BS in Psychology from Northeastern. Undergraduate students who pursue the PlusOne in ABA may take up to five graduate courses in ABA which double count towards their requirements for the BS degree and their requirements for the MS degree.

The ABA programs at Northeastern are verified by The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) exam. Students learn teaching and intervention skills to help individuals with autism and related disabilities reach their full potential. All graduate courses are provided online.
