Overview
Dr. Bruce is the Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical Integration Officer at MetroHealth System, a 2 billion safety net hospital system serving northeast Ohio. He is responsible for coordinating and integrating clinical and medical operations across the MetroHealth System to increase care quality, advance health equity, enhance patient safety and engagement, and optimize the overall effectiveness of MetroHealth’s clinical enterprise.
He has translated research into clinical environments to improve outcomes for marginalized populations and to reduce health disparities.
Dr. Bruce has been a global consultant in 10 countries, providing technical assistance to the CDC, United Nations, USAID, and non-governmental organizations to address HIV and substance use epidemics. He has held academic appointments at Yale School of Medicine, Yale School of Public Health, Boston University School of Medicine, and Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.
