Overview
Dr. Kimberly Ho (she/her) is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology (MS SLP) program, where she teaches graduate-level courses in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice in Speech-Language Pathology. She also supervises MS SLP students in the Speech-Language and Hearing Center (SLHC).
A dual-credentialed speech language pathologist with AAC Specialty Certification and Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Dr. Ho conducts AAC assessments and speech-generating device trials with students at the SLHC. Her clinical work is grounded in a commitment to interprofessional collaboration and neurodiversity-affirming approaches in supporting Autistic individuals with significant support needs.
Dr. Ho is the founder of a residential camp, AAC Family Camp for Autistic AAC users at Zeno Mountain Farm in Vermont, an inclusive community built on the belief that people with and without disabilities thrive together. She continues to supervise MS SLP students at the camp each spring break and summer, providing them with meaningful clinical experience in naturalistic, community-based settings.
