Overview

Dr. Kelli Uitenham is an award winning, nationally recognized speech-language pathologist, entrepreneur, and advocate for brain health. She is the founder of the Brain Talk Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about concussions, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in athletes and other at risk populations. Additionally, Brain Talk Foundation raises awareness about different neurological and neurodegenerative conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, stroke related injuries, etc.

With a background in journalism and mass communication, Dr. Uitenham brings a unique perspective to her work, blending storytelling with science to educate communities, athletes, and professionals on the importance of brain health. She is also the host of Kandid Konversations with Dr. Kelli, a podcast where she engages in meaningful discussions on concussion awareness, brain injury recovery, and overall cognitive wellness.

Her professional reach extends beyond clinical work into consulting, public speaking, and professional development for schools, healthcare organizations, and athletic programs nationwide. Passionate about empowering others through knowledge and prevention, Dr. Uitenham continues to create innovative initiatives that bridge the gap between research, practice, and public understanding.
