Overview
Charisse Anguiano-McGarthy joined BCORe in June 2026 as a Senior Grant Administrator-Post Award, supporting Communication Sciences and Disorders, the Institute for Health Equity and Social Justice Research, and the School of Nursing within Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences. With more than seven years of experience in research administration across higher education and academic health institutions, she partners with faculty, staff, and university colleagues to support the full lifecycle of sponsored research.
Drawing on her experience in both pre-award and post-award administration at Southern Methodist University and UTHealth Houston, Charisse provides strategic guidance in proposal development, budgeting, compliance, and award management, helping investigators navigate complex funding processes and advance impactful research. She has an MA in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University and a BS in Psychology from U of Phoenix.
At the heart of Charisse’s work is a passion for service, collaboration, and building meaningful relationships. She enjoys working alongside faculty whose research improves health outcomes and strengthens communities, and she is committed to creating efficient, supportive processes that allow researchers to focus on innovation and discovery. She is excited to be part of the Bouvé community and to contribute to its mission of advancing health, education, and scholarship through research excellence.
