PATRICK ZUMMO, MSHI, CPHIMS, CHISP
Patrick works to share and exchange healthcare data, seamlessly integrating the electronic health record systems of pediatric medical practices that are affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital. He also is involved in the organization’s Telehealth efforts, focused on facilitating video visits between patients and their doctors.
Patrick is also a “Healthcare Hacker” and has been a member of award winning teams at events hosted by Hacking Medicine and athenahealth’ s More Disruption Please programs.
Patrick is a “Double Husky” from Northeastern University, having recently completed the MS in Health Informatics program.
Patrick is a member of HIMMS, ATA, AHIMA, and various other industry organizations. He attained the CPHIMS certification from HIMSS, and the CHISP certification from ASHIM.
Patrick is a guest lecturer in the Master of Healthcare Administration program at MCPHS University in Boston, MA where he addresses security and privacy issues in healthcare. Patrick also serves on the HIMSS Privacy & Security Task Force.
Patrick is incredibly inspired by the ways in which healthcare can be improved using technology.
