MICHELLE ANDERSON, BSN, RN
Michelle is currently employed by SilverVue- a software provider of transitional care and tele health technologies. Enjoying a rare opportunity to work with a national leader in business and participate in the growth and development of new healthcare technology for the acute and post-acute space; Michelle took a temporary step out of the day-to-day direct clinical and administrative roles. She is working on a Master of Science in Nursing/Doctor of Nursing Practice with dual emphasis as a Nurse Executive and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner as well as a certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant. Having over 25 years of healthcare experience in community health and rehab, Michelle decided the time was right to give-back to non-profits and humanitarian efforts in healthcare. She is the current Secretary for the Utah Association for Home Care; Western Region Director for SMYS Official; Advisory Board Member for PCORI-U Impact at the University of Utah; and Board Member for PC-HEART. In her free time, she enjoys her blogging about healthcare, cooking, travel (especially with her three children), and anything the great outdoors can offer.
