Workshop Series

First Responder Resilience and Behavioral Health

The First Responder Resilience and Behavioral Health Workshop Series teaches you the skills you need to support people at a time of crisis. You will create a personal coping plan and learn how to engage in active and practical resilience building to help you manage long-term exposure to the trauma and stress of the work you do.

Applied Behavioral Analysis

The Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis covers in-depth topics such as conditional reinforcement, motivational influences on behavior, and errorless teaching procedures. If you already have a Master’s degree and are seeking to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), this is the program for you.

The Professional Certificate in Telehealth provides you with advanced training in core areas including health informatics, artificial intelligence, virtual communications and delivery, immersive media, virtual team management and much more.   • Prerequisite is a bachelor’s degree
  • Fully online and flexible
  • Part-time or full-time
  • Can lead to certification through the Institute of Healthcare Improvement

SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH

The Social Determinants of Health Certificate meets the growing demand for health professionals to understand the fundamental mechanisms that shape how society impacts individual peoples’ health. Whether you’re a nurse, social worker, counselor, therapist, first responder, physical therapist, physician or other health professional, understanding the roots of inequity will bring clarity and empathy to your work.

  • Total of 120 contact hours — 6 modules
  • Approved for nursing contact hours; in progress for CME approval and Social Work hours.
  • Could lead to a Badge from Northeastern University
  • Corporate or group sections are available
  • Fall 2022 semester is now open for enrollment

FIRST RESPONDER RESILIENCE AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

The First Responder Resilience and Behavioral Health Workshop Series teaches you the skills you need to support people at a time of crisis. Credit-Bearing Certificates

APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS

The Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis covers in-depth topics such as conditional reinforcement, motivational influences on behavior, and errorless teaching procedures. If you already have a Master’s degree and are seeking to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), this is the course for you.

  • Total of 21 credits — 7 courses across 3 semesters
  • Prerequisite is a Master’s degree in psychology or related field
  • Fully online and flexible
  • Preparation for taking the exam for Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Includes supervised clinical hours/practicum

Professional Certificates

TELEHEALTH

The Professional Certificate in Telehealth provides you with advanced training in core areas including health informatics artificial intelligence, virtual communications and delivery, immersive media, virtual team management and much more. Whether a clinician or leader you will reap the benefits of developing these key skills for today’s healthcare practices.

  • Total of 90 contact hours — 9 modules
  • Approved for nursing contact hours and CME
  • Could lead to a Badge from Northeastern University
  • Available for individual learner registration as well as for corporate groups
