School of Nursing Community Raises over $1,300 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

September is Suicide Prevention Month, a dedicated time to promote resources, raise awareness, and highlight the urgency of addressing mental health conditions.

On Sept. 22, the Bouvé School of Nursing community participated in a three-mile walk in Natick, MA, in support of suicide prevention.

This community which included faculty, students, administration, staff, and family members, raised over $1,300 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Their combined effort didn’t just raise crucial funds—it also brought attention to mental health and the need for support within our communities.

It was such an impactful way to make a difference!

If you or someone you know is in need of mental health support, Find@Northeastern offers 24/7 assistance and a wealth of resources.
