Get to know our DNP-NA program.

The Doctor of Nursing Practice-Nurse Anesthesia Program at Northeastern University trains the next generation of nurse anesthetists to become leaders in the field. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare disciplines so that students refine their nursing practice within the full picture of medicine, and they participate in clinical practice opportunities across a variety of sectors of the healthcare system regionally or in the Boston area, including private, public, and community-based settings, community mental health centers, and outpatient clinics.

With full approval from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Program and the International Federation of Nurse Anesthetists (IFNA), our program prepares students to sit for the national certification examination for nurse anesthetists upon graduation.
