Biography
Jessica Parente joined Northeastern in 2022 from Baystate Medical Center in Massachusetts, where she spent 14 years in the Sponsored Programs Administration Office, first as a Grants Coordinator and later as a Grants Manager. She holds a BS in Business Administration and Management and a Master of Public Health from Bay Path University.
Jessica is a grants management professional with broad experience across both pre-award and post-award administration, providing direct support and guidance to faculty and research teams on grants, contracts, and related funds. Her work with research professionals has deepened her long-standing interest in public health and given her a firsthand appreciation for the people working every day to improve the lives of others.
Jessica is a skilled problem-solver and critical thinker with a customer service orientation and strong conflict-resolution skills. She is bilingual in Spanish.
