Overview
Dr. Dawn Swain received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in 2005. She worked as an inpatient Pharmacist for many years, completed two years of work in research involving patient education of oral anticoagulants, and patient interviews to determine adverse effects of opioids in the older population. Dr. Swain has worked for several years in ambulatory care in anticoagulation management and has completed a Certificate program in Anticoagulation Therapy Management through the University of Southern Indiana. She has worked as an Instructor at Northeastern University in the Comprehensive Disease Management Skills lab for many years and joined the faculty at Northeastern University in 2023 as course coordinator for this lab.
