Overview

Benita Bamgbade is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Health Systems Sciences. She received her Pharm.D. degree from The University of Texas at Austin. After working in community pharmacy, Dr. Bamgbade returned to The University of Texas and received her Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Health Outcomes and Pharmacy Practice Division. Dr. Bamgbade’s research interests involve understanding factors that impact mental health care utilization and outcomes with a focus on health disparities and the intersection of pharmacy practice.
