Biography

 Kristin Stankard is a Board-Certifed Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in transitional care and is a faculty member in the School of Nursing at Northeastern University. She earned her bachelors of nursing at the University of Miami and then worked as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care nurse. Following, she earned her master’s and doctoral degree at Palm Beach Atlatnic University and began to work as a family nurse practitioner and there as an adjunct professor. As an educator, Dr. Stankard teaches across the undergraduate and graduate programs, specializing in adult care. Her ongoing research includes simulation, workplace violence, and nursing pedagogy.
