Steve Leonard receives 2014 Young Investigator Award

Steve Leonard, Assistant Professor, was awarded the 2014 Young Investigator Award by the Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacists (SIDP) at the recent September 2014 Inter-science Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) in Washington, DC. The Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) is a an association of health professionals dedicated to promoting the appropriate use of antimicrobials and committed to excellence in infectious diseases education, pharmacotherapy, and research.  Dr. Leonard’s research focuses on the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics of antimicrobials and how to use these properties to create novel ways to use antibiotics and prevent the emergence of resistance.
