School of Pharmacy Hosts 31st Annual John W. Webb Lecture

On October 26, the School of Pharmacy proudly hosted the 31st Annual John W. Webb Lecture Award Program. Linda S. Tyler, PharmD, FASHP, Chief Pharmacy Officer at University of Utah Health Care and the Associate Dean of Pharmacy Practice and Professor (Clinical), at the University of Utah, College of Pharmacy, was this year’s honoree. The award was established in 1985 to recognize the legacy of John Webb, long-term Director of Pharmacy at Northeastern University. Each year, in partnership with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the visiting professor presents a lecture on excellence in management. This year, Dr. Tyler delivered an impactful presentation entitled, “Imprinting Leadership”, which was the culmination of a full day of events on campus. The lecture draws a large number of local residents, fellows, pharmacy directors, pharmacists, past Webb Lecture recipients, faculty, students, and friends of the school. This year’s event was co-sponsored by Grifols, USA, LLC and the Massachusetts Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (MSHP).
