School of Pharmacy Students Recognized for Three Major Campus-Level Awards for 2016
Each spring, Northeastern University recognizes top students across the university in the form of three campus-level awards. We congratulate all of the pharmacy students who were recognized this academic year!
The Sears B Condit Awards for Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement is awarded annually to the 100 graduating seniors with the highest GPA. The following pharmacy students, receiving their bachelor’s degree in pharmacy studies, were 2016 recipients:
- Grace Collison (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2017)
- Jennifer Hum (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2017)
- Kevin Lai (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2017)
- Riza Usta (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2017)
The President’s Award for Outstanding Scholarship is awarded to the top 10 university students in each of the graduating classes 2016, 2017 and 2018. The following students in the pharmacy program were this year’s recipients:
- Melody Chang (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2018)
- Jasmine Fu (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2018)
- Tatiana Bujnoch (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2019)
- Taylor Imburgia (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2019)
The “Huntington 100” are students who are considered all-around high achievers who have made the most of their Northeastern experience. Awardees are selected from a university-wide pool of nominees (at all levels of study) who have demonstrated academic success, a record of service, global engagement, leadership on campus, an innovative spirit, and a commitment to a high level of ideals. The school is proud to announce that four pharmacy students were selected in 2016:

- Daniella Gaccione (Doctor of Pharmacy, Class of 2017)
- Abhijit Kulkarni (PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2016)
