Margarita Divall on Academic Dishonesty
Margarita DiVall, PharmD, co-authored a viewpoint on academic dishonesty in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education. The viewpoint reviewed some of the possible contributors as to why students cheat and the challenges that faculty face when dealing with academic misconduct. The paper emphasizes the importance of upholding high ethical standards among future pharmacists, offers some suggestions for how schools and colleges of pharmacy can implement measures to prevent cheating and how to decisively deal with it when it takes place.
