The online RN-to-BSN program exposes students to the most advanced learning methodologies, the highest caliber instructors, and an in-depth curriculum that sufficiently prepare students for advancement.
The online RN-to-BSN curriculum is designed to promote educational and professional excellence through the use of problem-based learning. All didactic courses are offered online and over 200 subject-specific, custom-designed learning activities are integrated into the online learning environment. Activities, including simulated decision-making, allow students to learn and practice in the comfort of their own home 24/7 so they become confidently prepared for all aspects of leadership.
The RN-to-BSN program consists of sixteen semesterhours of residency credit followed by twenty-nine semester hours of in-depth, advanced nursing courses. Residency courses provide focus on the topics of writing, ethics and communication in the health professions as well as pathophysiology. The advanced nursing component of the curriculum addresses professional role and leadership skill development through the utilization of research, evidence, and informatics to inform and enhance nursing practice.
