Three nursing students representing the Northeastern University Student Nurses’ Association were able to raise $2,210 for the Light the Night Walk which benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All the donations will help fund lifesaving cancer research and services for patients, bringing help and hope to thousands of people battling blood cancers. NUSNA team was able to earn 2nd place in the college challenge, raising the second most funds by all college teams signed up for the Boston Light the Night Walk that took place on October 15th. NUSNA is hoping to have more members participate in the walk and help fundraising efforts to benefit the leukemia and lymphoma society next year.
