On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Associate Professor Dr. Amy Shirong Lu of Public Health and Health Sciences was awarded the National Communication Association’s Gerald M. Phillips Award for Distinguished Communication Scholarship.
“It’s incredible to be recognized alongside such an inspiring group. I’m deeply honored and grateful for the support of my wonderful colleagues, mentors, collaborators, and research participants in doing this work,” she wrote in a letter to the College of Arts & Design and Bouvé sharing the news.
She is excited to continue her interdisciplinary research at Northeastern and beyond, with the goal of making a positive impact on the community.
