Laurie Dopkins, PhD, is Executive Director of the Northeastern University Public Evaluation Lab. She obtained a PhD in Sociology from Rutgers University.
Her career includes senior positions in the public, nonprofit, philanthropic, and academic sectors. Most recently, she was Director of Academic Programs at the School of Public Policy & Urban Affairs at Northeastern University.
Dr. Dopkins has experience with all phases of the evaluation cycle from evaluability assessment and planning, through data collection and analysis, to helping partners use data to make key decisions. Dr. Dopkins is committed to assisting community partners to evaluate their programs and enhance their effectiveness by integrating program evaluation into their operations.
