Yesterday, July 30th, Bouvé hosted an installment within their Women Who Inspire series. This event featured Alisa Lincoln, the Director of the Institute for Health Equity and Social Justice (IHESJR), Suzanne Garverich, the Assistant Program Director of IHESJR, and Rachel Rodgers, Associate Professor in Applied Psychology and an Institute Faculty Scholar. This installment of the Women Who Inspire series was titled “The Impact of COVID-19 on Mental Health and Emerging Strategies to Support People through and beyond the Pandemic”. During the webinar, the speakers discussed ongoing research at the Institute and from the APPEAR team in the Department of Applied Psychology, examining the impact of COVID-19 on mental health as well as emerging strategies to support mental health and well-being during the pandemic.
