Recent Publications by Faculty Member Jessica Hoffman

Jessica Hoffman, an IHESJR faculty member and Associate Professor in Applied Psychology, recently published a paper entitled “Addressing the Consequences of School Closure due to COVID-19 on Children’s Physical and Mental Wellbeing” in World Medical & Health Policy Journal. This paper focuses on the “physical and emotional toll resulting from school closures and the withdrawal of nonacademic supports that students rely on.”

She also published “Effects of a teacher training program to promote physically active play among children with Autism Spectrum Disorders” in the Journal of School Psychology about the Wellness Enhancing Physical Activity for Young Children (WE PLAY) intervention model.
