Recent Publications by IHESJR Faculty Scholars Hermine Poghosyan and Jeanne Madden
Jeanne Madden, Faculty Scholar and Associate Professor in the School of Pharmacy, has led several new publications this winter. First is a qualitative report published in Journal of Affective Disorders, on the impact of health care costs for people living with bipolar disorder. The second is a related article about the research collaboration with a large peer advocacy organization published in Psychiatric Services. Lastly, she published a separate report in Medical Care about financial barriers to medication use among Medicare beneficiaries.
Hermine Poghosyan, Faculty Scholar and Associate Professor in School of Nursing, recently published an article entitled “Association between daily and non-daily cannabis use and depression among United States adult cancer survivors” in Nursing Outlook which was also featured on BouvĂ© news: “Despite the Stigma, Cancer Patients Look to Cannabis for Relief”. She was investigating the association between cannabis use and depression and evaluating cannabis use reasons and methods of administration among cancer survivors.
