New Publication from Jessica Hoffman and WE PLAY Team
The implementation of their WE PLAY program has earned faculty member Dr. Jessica Hoffman, Ellyn Schmidt, PhD ’20, Dr. Mara Ellyon, and their colleagues, a new publication in the School Psychology, a peer-reviewed journal from the American Psychological Association. Their study demonstrated preliminary effectiveness of WE PLAY, a program created to educate preschool teachers on ways to lead and engage children in active play. The program was virtually implemented and resulted in an increased level of physical activity amongst the children whose teachers completed the training. Learn more about the WEPLAY project here.
