About
Dr. Saksono was a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard University‘s Center of Research in Computation and Society. He completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Northeastern University. I received a Fulbright scholarship for my Computer Science Master’s study in 2012-2014. He got his B.Eng. degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.
Project Description
In his research, Dr. Saksono investigates how to design technologies that help address health disparities. He examines how health technologies can catalyze social interactions that help people to manage their health and wellbeing as collective efforts. He has been conducting the entire user-centered design process by designing, building, and evaluating novel health technologies in collaboration with members of marginalized communities. Health apps that I have designed, developed, and evaluated include Storywell, Go & Grow, and Spaceship Launch.
