Dr. Beth Molnar and members of her lab, Daphney Mirand (Project Manager), Chloe Nichols (Graduate Student Assistant), and Health Equity Intern Katherine Barker shared with interested students about the research they do in the Institute’s Violence Prevention and Trauma Studies as well as the Public Mental Health and Substance Use research core.
Dr. Tiana Yom led the efforts of informing students about the great work NU-PEL does regarding partnering with community organizations in order to evaluate programs, treatments, and initiatives. Doctoral students, Sushant Kumar and Raimy Jaramillo and former Health Equity Intern Olivia Sterns shared their experience with interested students around their work in evaluation research.
Health Equity Interns Emma Rock, Pragnya Kalidindi, Dorian Stump, and Sylvia Wise connected with students about the Institute for Health Equity and Social Justice’s internship program – the Health Equity Internship. They were supported by Suzanne Garverich, the Program Director of the Institute.
