Faculty Scholar Dani Snyder-Young Awarded National Endowment for the Arts Grant

Faculty scholar Dr. Dani Snyder-Young, Director of the Institute, Dr. Alisa Lincoln, and Dr. Young’s team, have been awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for their research project investigating the impact of theatre participation and art-integrated peer leadership in the substance addiction recovery process. The study examines the way theatre programs that engage with the topics of substance addiction and recovery impacts  the mental health and overall-well being of people as they go through a long-term recovery process.
