The Health Sciences Entrepreneurs (HSE) mentoring service is open to all Northeastern University alumni, students, faculty or staff members who have ideas about starting new businesses in health or life sciences. Through hands-on mentoring, HSE’s entrepreneurs learn how to perfect their products and services, identify markets, build business organizations, and seek funding. Whatever their stage of development, all ventures relating to the health sciences are welcome. The Northeastern connection must be the “entrepreneur” of the venture and be active in the company as a founder/principal. Relationships between mentors and potential entrepreneurs are established on the basis of each entrepreneur’s needs and preferences, and the interests of the available mentors. Entrepreneurs are assured impartial and unbiased advice by a code of ethics to which all mentors must adhere.
