April 3 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Come and learn from an expert panel of researchers about implementing photovoice in community settings.
About this Event
Photovoice is a participatory qualitative research method that blends narrative with photography. Through photovoice, marginalized community members are empowered to share their words and photos as a way to reach decision-makers and implement positive change. Join NU-PEL to hear from an expert panel of researchers with hands-on experience using photovoice in community settings. We will explore practical tips and things to consider when planning and conducting a photovoice project, share lessons learned, and other topics.
Moderator: Dr. Laurie Dopkins form NU-PEL
