Robert Baginski attended Bowdoin College where he obtained a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Environmental Studies. He then attended the University of Connecticut, graduating with a Doctorate of Medicine in 1999 before completing a residency in emergency medicine with the University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital. He has worked in emergency medicine since graduating his residency and has been fortunate enough to be able to use his training both locally and internationally. In 2010, he was one of the many relief personnel who travelled to Haiti to aid those people injured by the earthquake that devastated that country, an experience that he will always remember and for which he remains grateful.
In addition to medicine, Dr. Baginski also works with Mystic Aquarium in their Seal Rescue Clinic where he assists in the rehabilitation of injured and stranded marine mammals. He is also an avid fencer and has been a foil fencer for the greater part of 20 years.
