Overview
Dr. Morrison has clinical practice experience as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and as a nurse practitioner at Boston Children’s Hospital. While her training is as a family nurse practitioner, she has spent most of her career working in pediatrics. Her interest in safe transitions of care and new graduate mentorship began during her time working as an inpatient nurse practitioner for general surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital for nine years. She served as a adjunct clinical faculty member for the University of Massachusetts for three years, and joined Northeastern University as a part-time faculty in the Fall of 2022. She is honored to be part of the Northeastern University School of Nursing faculty full-time as of July 2023.
