Overview

John R. “Jack” Reynolds has served at Northeastern University as Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Interim Dean of the Bouvé College of Health Sciences, and Interim Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. Earlier, he served on the faculty and was Dean of the School of Pharmacy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He started his academic career as a faculty member at St. John’s University and was a critical care pharmacist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Also, early in his career, he was a staff pharmacist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a pharmacy manager at UMass Medical Center. His scholarly and teaching interests include clinical pharmacokinetics, health entrepreneurship, and pharmacy practice administration. He has authored research and review articles in peer review journals and chapters in medical and pharmacy textbooks. He has given numerous professional presentations at local and national meetings. He has been extensively involved in institutional and association-related service. He has served on the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Professional Affairs Committee, Academic Affairs Committee, Council of Deans Resolutions Committee, and Program Committee. He served two terms as the Region 1 Councilor and national President of the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society. He has also been active in his community and served two terms as an elected member of his local school committee.
