Dr. Robinson-Wood’s research investigates intersectionality among race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and class. Her current research projects are: 1) Resist to remain resilient among millennial women of African descent; 2) Qualitative investigation of microaggressions among highly educated LGBT and people of color; 3) Racial socialization practices in interracial families. The fifth edition of her textbook, The Convergence of Race, Ethnicity, and Gender: Multiple Identities in Counseling was released in 2017.
