Michael Trisolini, PhD, MBA has 39 years of experience in domestic and global health policy, healthcare quality measurement and quality improvement, healthcare payment and financing, accountable care organizations, healthcare program implementation and evaluation, healthcare management, and health planning. Taught healthcare management and finance for 13 years at the MPH level for both domestic and international students. Project experience in 21 different countries with funding from U.S. government agencies, foundations, and international development agencies. Led and participated in studies using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Conducted multivariate statistical analysis of data from health insurance claims, patient surveys, and medical records. Led and participated in interviews, focus groups, and case studies on success factors and barriers for healthcare quality improvement, public reporting of quality, health information systems, electronic health records implementation, primary care programs, family planning, chronic disease prevention and treatment programs, and late life care programs. Led and participated in multidisciplinary teams designing, implementing, and evaluating nationwide Medicare demonstration projects.
