Dr. Allison is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the Director of the Speech Motor Impairment & Learning (SMILe) Lab at Northeastern University. She received her PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Dr. Allison’s research interests focus on improving assessment and treatment of motor speech disorders in children, with a specific focus on pediatric dysarthria.
