Dr. Collette N. Ncube is a Future Faculty Fellow in the Department of Health Sciences and the Institute of Urban Health Research and Practice. She received her MPH (Health Policy & Management) and DrPH (Behavioral and Community Health Sciences) from the University of Pittsburgh and MS in Epidemiology from the University of Washington. As a perinatal and social epidemiologist, her research focuses on determinants of racial/ethnic disparities in adverse birth and pregnancy outcomes, along with associated later life cardiovascular/metabolic disorders, with particular focus on lifecourse and intergenerational factors. She has experience teaching a course in Field Epidemiology to senior undergraduate students, and is interested in guest lecturing at the advanced undergraduate or graduate levels.
