Clinical Work:

Stefanie Bohart is a clinical supervisor in the Speech-Language and Hearing Center, working closely with the SLP graduate students as they develop their clinical skills with adult clients. Stefanie also supervises students within specialty adult placements, including the Aphasia Workshop and SPEAK OUT!/LOUD Crowd. She has adult clinical experience and advanced skills in the areas of cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation and dysphagia and has practiced in both the acute rehabilitation and outpatient settings. Her specific area of clinical interest includes providing ongoing cognitive treatment to patients with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, in order to help them maintain their current capabilities and adequately manage changes in their level of cognitive functioning.

Education/Training:

Stefanie is currently enrolled in the Speech Language Pathology Doctorate program at MGH Institute of Health Professions, where she will graduate with her SLPD in 2024. She received her MS at Emerson College and her BA at Michigan State University.

Certification/Licensures:

Stefanie holds a Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is dually licensed to practice in both the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She also earned her credentials as a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist (MSCS) from the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers.
