Dr. Cahill is a leading public health researcher focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) health and HIV/STI prevention and care. He is Director of Health Policy Research at the Fenway Institute, where he manages several projects related to LGBT health, HIV, and social determinants of health funded by federal agencies and foundations. These projects involve health research, policy analysis, technical assistance, implementation science research, and health education. He also leads public education and advocacy with local, state, federal and global governmental bodies.
