Robert Baginski attended Bowdoin College where he obtained a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Environmental Studies. He then attended the University of Connecticut, graduating with a Doctorate of Medicine in 1999 before completing a residency in emergency medicine with the University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital. He has worked in emergency medicine since graduating his residency and has been able to use his training both locally and internationally. He has been fortunate enough to work at Northeastern University since 2013 and has served in a variety of capacities, including, Assistant and Associate Clinical Professor, Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Program, Medical Director of the Emergency Medicine Technician course, and now Program Director of the Physician Assistant Program. His professional interests include comparative and evolutionary biology, infectious diseases, and marine mammal physiology.
