Rebecca Stouff is a dynamic public health professional committed to promoting social connections and leveraging community resources for people to achieve whole health across the many dimensions of their lives. She arrived at the Department of Health Sciences after working at the Center for Social Innovation (C4) on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)’s Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS) initiative. As an integral member of the BRSS TACS project team, Rebecca become a contributor to national efforts to expand mental health, wellness and recovery supports on college campuses. Additionally, Rebecca has sought and continues to ground her work in the community through service at local trauma-informed organizations that aid individuals experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, and social disconnection. Her work now in the Department of Health Sciences pairs her unique experiences and passion to enhance supports for students at Northeastern University by facilitating connections that contribute to student thriving and advances the global conversation that mental health is a critical component to health.
