Overview

Dr. Nia Johnson is an Assistant Clinical Professor and Assistant Program Director in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, Charlotte Campus. Dr. Johnson earned her Master of Communication Disorders at the University of South Carolina before earning her Doctor of Education with a focus in speech-language pathology at Nova Southeastern University. Her scholarly interests include clinical education and supervision, clinical simulation in communication sciences and disorders, and Interprofessional Education/Interprofessional Practice (IPE/IPP). Aside from teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in communication sciences and disorders, Dr. Johnson engages in clinical supervision, clinical coordination, and student mentorship.
