Marie Corkery PT, DPT, MHS, FAAOMPT is one of the core musculoskeletal faculty in the PTMRS program and is a primary instructor for Musculoskeletal Management II (PT6223) and (PT6224) and Diagnostic Imaging (PT6251). She also mentors students in PT Projects I (PT5227) and II (PT5229).
Her clinical practice is in orthopedics primarily at Community Rehab Care in Newton, MA and she is a Fellow the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, (AAOMPT). She has published and presented nationally and internationally on topics related to orthopedics, manual therapy and diagnostic imaging. In addition to her clinical and academic work she is active in AAOMPT and the APTA at State and National level. Her clinical and research interests include lower extremity kinematics and motor control and exploration of manual therapy approaches and outcomes for patients with spinal dysfunction.
