Education/degrees: PhD Pharmaceutics (Ohio State University), MS Pharmacology (Seoul National University, South Korea), BS Pharmacy (Seoul National University)

Research Interests: Pharmacokinetics, Heavy metal toxicology, Gene-environment interactions

Jonghan Kim is Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He received a BS degree in Pharmacy and an MS degree in Pharmacology from Seoul National University and a PhD degree in Pharmaceutics from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, with a study focused on protein pharmacokinetics. During his postdoc training at the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, he investigated the transport mechanisms of metals through the olfactory mucosa and the brain. His research interests center around the characterization of pharmacokinetics/toxicokinetics and pharmacodynamics/toxicodynamics of drugs and metals in the context of genetic susceptibility.
