Communication Sciences and Disorders

Overview

As the Speech Language Pathology Clinic Director, I manage the daily operations of our on- campus Speech Language Hearing Center. In addition, I continue to supervise graduate student clinicians in the clinic. I was previously a clinical supervisor and clinical coordinator at Northeastern University, working closely with students in all phases of their clinical development. Over the years I have worked in a variety of settings including acute care, in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation with adults; public schools with children of all ages; and private practice. I enjoyed supervising graduate students and clinical fellows in the field which lead me to my position at NU. My focus for many years before starting at Northeastern, was working with young children with speech and language delays and disorders at an integrated preschool. In the NUSLHC I continue to work with children, but have also gained more experience working with adults with fluency disorders, which has recently become an area of interest.
